Reek Of STOOM Bought this on a whim cos I liked the name! I wasn't disappointed - this is am alchemic brew of Blackened Doom and Grind that is as infectious as Mango Worm.

about

Well, 20 years has just flown by. I can't say I ever imagined that I'd still care enough about this record all this time later to come back to it, but here we are.

Part of this albums appeal is in it's lo-fi nature, but listening back to the original, the flaws are extremely apparent. Some of the tracks only had drums in one side. In several of the tracks the uncompressed bass was so loud that it completely overpowered everything else, making for a generally muddy and difficult to listen to mix.

Sadly the original files required to give this album a proper remix were lost approximately 19 years ago, and all I had to work on was the release that's already on bandcamp. However, with some careful massaging, I feel I have managed to clean things up to the point where it is worthy of this anniversary edition. I hope you agree.

To sweeten the deal I include a track recorded shortly after the original release that has never been available before.
